Rachel E. Macauley

Rachel E. Macauley is a Director at the Draper Richards Kaplan (DRK) Foundation, where she works to identify and support innovative, high-impact social entrepreneurs. She is an impact-first investing specialist with deep regional expertise across Africa and the United States. Before joining DRK, Rachel served as a Senior Program Officer with the OCP Group, a global fertilizer producer, where she led corporate partnerships focused on U.S.-Africa investments in agricultural development and technology. She previously served as a portfolio manager at John Snow, Inc. (JSI), managing programs to strengthen health systems across Africa. Originally from Liberia, Rachel is passionate about leveraging business and innovation for social benefit. She holds a master’s degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
