Jay Patel is the Director of Technology at Jacaranda Health. Here, he has pioneered African language AI, developed specialized maternal health models, scaled digital health tools from fewer than 1,000 to over 600,000 monthly active users across five countries, and is working on implementing Swahili Voice AI. His efforts have strengthened compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act and advanced the use of technology for social impact. Jay began his career in 2006 as an assistant project manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Ohio, where he worked on large-scale technology conversions and system enhancements.
