Dr. Lydia Kemunto Matoke is the Director of Hope Natural Health Care Centre Ltd and President of both the Herbalist Society of Kenya and The Traditional and Alternative Medicine Society of East Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Herbology and Phytotherapy from St. Barabbas University (1980) and a Ph.D. in the same field from Bircham International University, Spain (2016). Dr. Matoke operates a herbal clinic in Kenya, specializing in treating cancer, HIV/AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, ulcers, and gynecological conditions. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on traditional medicine and medicinal plants, combining clinical practice with ongoing research.
