Dr. Jasmit Shah is an Assistant Professor at Aga Khan University within the Brain and Mind Institute in Kenya. He holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics and has over a decade of experience in public health research, biostatistics, and data analytics. His current research focuses on brain health using advanced imaging to understand Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in African populations. Dr. Shah has collaborated with organizations including UNICEF and UNFPA and authored over 100 publications in international journals. His work champions evidence-based innovation and the advancement of health research in low- and middle-income settings.
