Ceciliah Koyieyio
Ceciliah M. Koyieyio has over 15 years of experience in teaching and educational administration, dedicated to advancing education and student wellbeing in Kenya. She began her career as a teacher in 2007 before joining the Ministry of Education in 2017. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Education in Kajiado County, Ceciliah oversees both government and partner-led education projects and programs. She coordinates teacher mentors who guide students on career pathways, university transitions, and school reentry after dropout. As Co-Chair of the County Steering Committee on Mental Health, she leads initiatives addressing the “Triple Threat” among school children—teen pregnancy, HIV, and gender-based violence. Ceciliah holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Management, which underpins her commitment to building inclusive, nurturing, and effective learning environments across the education system.
