Aldo Oluoch-Olunya

Counseling Psychologist

Aldo is a registered and licensed Counseling Psychologist with over six years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. His career began in school settings, where he served as both a Counsellor and Pastoral Coordinator, helping students and teachers navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. Since 2021, Aldo has focused on private practice, where he continues to champion open, stigma-free conversations about mental health in Kenya. Deeply committed to breaking the taboo around psychological well-being, he uses education, public talks, and media engagements to create safe spaces for dialogue and healing. He leads talks with parents, teachers, and students in schools and universities - building shared understanding and encouraging collective care within education spaces. Through his advocacy, Aldo emphasizes that when mental health is openly discussed, individuals and institutions alike are empowered to create safer, more nurturing environments for learning and growth.
